Resources for Download

Below are a collection of resources that I've put together over the years i've been leading Brownies and Sparks. Hopefully you can find something that will help you in your unit.

Brownie Promise, Motto and Law Relay Race

We use this game every year with the girls to help them learn (or "refresh") their understanding of the Brownie Promise, Motto and Law. The girls always love relay races and if you have a girl with mobility accommodation needs you can easily switch this into a scavenger hunt type game.

I attach print out the words, attach to card stock and then laminate for durability. Click the link below to get your own copy: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7WJzZqx6Ug2LWlwSk14RVFVTXc

Camp Graces Cards

At our last camp we decided that the girls could be responsible for picking and teaching a grace to everyone at each meal. To help the girls learn some graces I made up these grace cards. They come in full size and a pocket size.

Campfire Song Cards

I Love campfires because I love to sing! However, if you are like me it can be difficult to remember the verses to all those great campfire songs. To help with this problem I made up this set of song cards. Please note that I do not claim to own any of these songs. These cards are just a complied list of my favourites

While these games come from all over the specific wording of many of them came from Becky's Guiding Website: (http://dragon.sleepdeprived.ca).

Active Games Cards

If your Brownies are anything like mine then you know how important a good game is. We try to get in as many games as possible in each meeting so our kids can run around and have a great time. Games are also an awesome way for the girls to burn off some energy and get out the silly before starting on program work. Over the years I've collected numerous games that Ive made into laminated cards. I keep these games cards on a binder ring and the girls can pick the ones they'd like to play whenever we have the time. Brownie Notebook:

The Brownie Notebook is a big part of our unit programming. If you'd like to see how we use our notebook please see the "Unit Resources" page. Below is a link to a folder that has all of the pages i've created for the Brownie Notebook. Most i've made myself but others i've adapted from other wonderful guiders. Thanks to Ashley Holifeld for the Brownie Memory Page idea!
